When working on the "Bombe" project, Marta made a full immersion in the fascinating world of elephants. Not only did she read books, watch documentaries, and interview experts from various countries, but, helped by her family and friends, she ended up assembling a heterogeneous iconographic collection witnessing of about 2500 years of elephants-related Western imagination. Such a database of pictures has become the core of an interactive QR codes-based installation Marta has conceived for "An Elephant's Memory // Urban Wilderness."
