In 2015, a theatrical adaptation of Marta's short novel Suonala ancora, Bombe [Play It Again, Bombe] was realised in Milan as part of the Universal Exposition programme. Directed by Paolo Bignamini and interpreted by Mario Cei, with original musics by Le Jacobin, this play featured a video-scenography Marta realised with her fellow colleague Anna Caterina Dalmasso under the pseudonym of Ahura-Mazdā. Between 2015 and 2017 the show has been touring around Italy and France.

"The show, based on the book by Marta Nijhuis, is poetical and delicate, fairy and imaginative. Ahura-Mazdā’s video-scenography matches with the oneiric atmosphere of the text, like a shadow-theatre whose silouhettes drop onto the screen of past and memories. And even if much is said about the war, and about actual bombs, ruins, and death, the play has an unreal taste that delights us and takes us back to a world that is no longer there. And, at least for a short while, it is capable of taking us far up in the sky, and make us fly."

D.D., Corriere dello Spettacolo

"The characters, transformed by memory and nostalgia into fantastic heroes, accompany us on the thread of a narration in which dreamlike atmospheres match with an intense dramatic charge."
